The most exciting thing about sight fishing is watching the fish actually attack your bait/lure. Life would be great if fish always inhaled a well placed cast, but the reality is many "perfect casts" end up with the fish merely following the lure/bait at a safe distance, or even worse -- not reacting at all to your offering.
