Meter is still running on price of City Hall

In 2009, newly elected Mayor Craig Cates campaigned against the construction of an $18 million City Hall. As a cost-saving measure, Cates urged the city to acquire and renovate the Glynn Archer Elementary School.

Nearly three years later, Cates may very well be in reach of his goal, but not as a cost-saving measure, as his quest could cost $4 million to $5 million more than...
