PLANTATION KEY
Roadwork in Upper Keys
The Florida Department of Transportation has begun a roadway construction project between Mile Markers 90.02 and 90.75 on Plantation Key. The $660,000 project includes milling and resurfacing, updating signs and striping work. During construction, one of two lanes in each direction will be closed at times for worker safety. Closures will occur during non-peak hours. Lanes will not be closed on Saturdays, holidays, Fridays preceding a Saturday holiday or Mondays following a Sunday holiday. No lanes will be closed during special events as determined by the project engineer. The project should be completed in December.
