Careless driving cause of Ohio couple's death in Sugarloaf Key wreck

A judge gave a Minnesota man the most severe sentence allowed under Florida law after he didn't appear in court this month on a careless driving charge from a February wreck on U.S. 1 in which an Ohio couple on a motorcycle was killed.

Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers said Elzo Victor Peterson, 82, of Clarks Grove, Minn., was driving a 2000 Dodge pickup truck at 11:05...
