On Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, our beloved Rob Harris lost his battle with cancer. He died with his family by his side at his home in Key West, Fla. Rob was born in Miami, Fla., on Sept. 23, 1965. He was the son of Roger and Bette Push.

He, along with his parents, moved to Key West in 1972. Rob had a passion for fishing, diving and life in general. After working for UPS for over 15 years, Rob took over Key West Pawn Shop, which became another successful path in his life. Rob will be greatly missed by so many friends and family. He is survived by Kay Melilli; children, Chris Harris, Brittany Harris and Kalli Melilli; mother, Bette Push; brothers, Bert Harris and Jason Harris; sisters, Melanie Harris, Deborah Curmode and Jacqueline Poutasse; loving companion, Janet Coley, and her daughter, Amy.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Dean-Lopez Funeral Home, 418 Simonton St., Key West, FL 33040. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home. The Dean-Lopez Funeral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
