MARATHON -- Girl Scout Troop 703 will be at Seaside Dawgs & Beef from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, to raise funds for trips, camp-outs, awards, badges, uniforms and books.
The Daisy scouts will be operating a lemonade stand while the Brownie scouts will be guest servers. All tips and money raised at the lemonade stand, plus 10 percent of what Seaside Dawgs & Beef makes while hosting the scouts, will be given to the troop.
"It is important that the girls learn early on the rewards that come from work," said troop leader Jenn Mixon-Eick.
