JEMMIE CAROL COOKSON

Mrs. Jemmie Carol Cookson, 67, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Lower Keys Medical Center. Jemmie was born in Wayne County, Mich., on Feb. 5, 1945, to Robert Hall and Jemmie Bacus.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Carl Cookson; daughters, Jemmie Cookson of Michigan and Maschel Cookson (Jason) Rawlings of Dallas Texas; grandchildren, Nichole, Tyler and Victoria; mother, Jemmie Hall Bacus; sisters, Sylvia Thompson and Louise Shaner; and a host of sorrowing family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Fifth Street Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ozzie Vater officiating.

Burial to follow at Southern Keys Cemetery. All arrangements entrusted to Castillo & Thurston's Key West Mortuary & Cremation Center.
