Top donors reveal political backers

In the campaign finance arena of the Florida Keys for the Nov. 6 general election, the winners are obvious.

For starters there is Rick Ramsay, the Republican and heir apparent in the eyes of outgoing Sheriff Bob Peryam, who has raked in a stunning $145,820 in contributions, handily outdoing the Democrat nominee, Thomas Peteck, whose total is about $24,000.
