Bullard, Hopes vie for Senate

When it was announced earlier this year that district boundaries had changed, Florida Keys residents were optimistic that one of their own would represent them in the state Senate.

The last Keys resident to hold a state Senate seat was John Spottswood, who held the seat from 1963 to 1965. State House Rep. Ron Saunders, D-Key West, had the best chance of any Keys candidate of...

SCOTT HOPES WILL REPRESENT THE KEYS

The Keys have been pushed aside and left to fend for ourselves by the Bullard's lack of representation for too many years. The Keys need a State Senator who will keep our interests and our needs in the forefront of Tallahassee's focus and Scott Hopes will do that. Sadly, the Bullard's are so busy taking care of inner city Miami that the Keys are forgotten. With Holly Raschein as our State Representative and Scott Hopes as our State Senator, the Keys will have a strong leadership and effective representation.

Yep

They will sure take care of the keys. Endless development, high insurance, no health care.... A vote for these clowns is a vote for governor crook Scott.

The Bullards are busy taking

The Bullards are busy taking care of the Bullards. Like mother, like son.

Scott Hopes is bad for the Keys!

Scott Hopes has no chance of winning- this Senate seat was drawn to be won by a Democrat. All Hopes did by filing was to close the Democratic primary so that Republicans in the Keys could not vote for Ron Saunders. Hopes single-handedly cost the Keys our last chance to have one of our own represent us in the Senate. Anyone voting for Hopes is just rewarding him for being stupid.

Scott Hopes is Good for the Keys- Keys Senate Representation

The public record clearly shows that the Democrat Primary was closed before Hopes entered the race. Entering the race, Hopes provided the opportunity for all voters to elect the next Senator to represent the Keys and the other communities which have been disenfranchised for too long. Representative Saunders lost his primary because voters in the Keys did not come out in the primary and vote. Voter turnout was only 30% in the Primary! Let's not repeat that in the general election, if you are registered to vote, then exercise that right and VOTE. Vote for better Keys representation- vote for Scott Hopes for Senator!
