•School Board, District 3

John Welsh will hold two upcoming campaign events: A meet-and-greet from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at The Fish House Encore Restaurant, Mile Marker 102, Key Largo; and a $30 dinner with cash bar at 6 p.m. Oct. 29 at Hurricane Hole, Stock Island. • State Attorney

Catherine Vogel will hold a campaign party at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at Zaza Pizzeria Napoletana, at Mile Marker 17 on Sugarloaf Key. Free hors d'oeuvres and wine.

CANDIDATE FORUMS

• Upper Keys League of Women Voters

The Upper Keys League of Women Voters will host a free community forum at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Holiday Inn in Key Largo. The forum will include a panel discussion about extending the one-cent infrastructure sales tax through 2033. Panelists include Monroe County Mayor David Rice, journalist Steve Estes, business owner Steve Pribramsky and media director Mark Mills. • Lower Keys Chamber

The Lower Keys Chamber of Commerce will host a candidates forum from 6:30 to 9 p.m. tonight at Boondocks Grille & Draft House, Mile Marker 27.5, Ramrod Key. Candidates for sheriff, clerk of court, state attorney, Mosquito Control, School Board, supervisor of elections, state representative (District 120), state senator (District 39) and U.S. House of Representatives (District 26) will participate. • Business and Professional Women
