Now what are you going to do about your command staff who have visited private citizens and business owners up an down the keys, brow beating and harassing them into taking down Peteck's signs and replacing them with Ramsay's signs? Have you given any guidance to the members of your staff regarding politicking while on duty, or while wearing the uniform?
Before anyone demands proof and instead pooh poohs the allegations, put yourself in the place of these individuals and businessman. Do you honestly believe they would come forward while those who have harassed them are still in office? They will come forward to the Sheriff on Nov 7th, after Peteck has won the election, only then do they feel safe.
So join me in voting for Tom Peteck for sheriff and put an end to the thuggery being practiced by certain command level staff officers of the MCSO.
You ask why do I care.... I care because I am a retired command level law enforcement officer, and to see this behaivor by a certain few pisses me off, because they are direct opposition to the code of ethics they swore to live by when they put on their badge.
