Resident who doesn't pay taxes claims scam

KEY WEST -- A local woman reported another possible IRS-related scam on Thursday, telling police she received a letter from the government agency saying she owed $47,000.

There were no suspects or arrests.

If true, it would be the fifth such local identity theft claim filed recently.
