20 YEARS AGO

City Electric System employees were working with Homestead Utilities to restore power to South Florida after Hurricane Andrew.

Mel Fisher Maritime Heritage Society was offering free tours to schools of their exhibit "Treasures of the Triangle."

The school system had lost 111 students as families were leaving town because of the war scare.
