Catch local candidate forums on YouTube

Monroe County residents who missed candidate forums or attended but want a refresher may view videos of Hometown PAC's events online at YouTube.

The local political action committee created its own channel on the popular site: http://hometownkeywest.com/current-events.html. Go to that page directly or via the www.hometownkeywest.com site by clicking on the YouTube icon, then on the "upload video" icon.

Hometown held forums for candidates in the general election on Sept. 24 and Oct. 15 at the Key West International Airport restaurant The Conch Flyer.

Election Day is Nov. 6, but residents may vote early from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Nov. 3 at a Supervisor of Elections office at: 530 Whitehead St, Suite 101, in Key West; 490 63rd St., Ocean, Suite 130, in Marathon; or 102050 Overseas Highway, Suite 137, in Key Largo.

Early voting is also offered at two branches of the Monroe County Library: The Big Pine Key library, 213 Key Deer Blvd., in the Winn-Dixie Plaza; and the Islamorada library at Mile Marker 81.7.
