Man arrested for firing gun during argument

BIG COPPITT KEY -- A man accused of firing a gun at a couple after an argument was arrested Sunday, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

Derek Pierce, 30, of Big Coppitt Key, faces charges that include discharging a firearm in public, aggravated assault and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
