Fugitive arrested in Georgia

A Stock Island man placed on house arrest after posting Facebook threats against a judge, a deputy and the deputy's family, and who allegedly cut off his GPS ankle bracelet before bolting to Georgia, has been arrested in that state.

Michael George Haggerty, 48, formerly of D-21 10th Ave. on Stock Island, was arrested in Savannah, Ga., by authorities on Oct. 25, but specifics...
