It's Election Day, now go vote!
Nearly 46 percent of county voters made choices early

As Monroe County Supervisor of Elections Harry Sawyer predicted, early voting was down in Monroe County this year compared to the last presidential election four years ago.

In 2008, 13,641 Monroe County voters took advantage of early voting, but this year the number dropped to 11,095 people. However, the number of voters who filed absentee ballots remained about the same...

My fellow Conservatives do not be alarmed if Obama takes an early lead, Obama supporters do not have jobs, we will catch up when we get off work and go vote. This type of disparaging post is the reason you lost. You can only get so far demonizing welfare recipients (even though most of them live in Red States). I hope the GOP offers a plan for the future in 2016 and not just more hate and divisiveness. It would be nice to be able to vote Republican.

One more thing, you need to check the facts: Here you go, Champ laid out for you. The 4 states with the highest welfare are: California, Maine, New Mexico and Washington, guess who won those states. The 4 states with the lowest welfare rates: Wyoming, Idaho,Georgia and Texas, guess who won those states

No, my friend, the reason we lost is America has become a fat, lazy society. They prefer to sit around and wait for the 1st of the month. Unemployment checks are too easy to get, 2 days before the cut off they go get a signature. Single moms get knocked up when money gets tight and baam, another paycheck. Some of this is true, but there is more corporate welfare then individual in this country. Also, if there were higher wages and benefits, many more people would work. Unfortunately, thanks to our Walmart culture, work no longer pays. When your welfare benefits pay more then a 40 hour work week, people take the easy way out.

Keep losing.... On a per capita basis, the core red states have more welfare then blue ones. If you do not think tons of people are collecting welfare in red states your blind. Think mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, West Cirginia. You know who these people are? a big part of the GOP base. Go lick your wounds and hang a chair from a tree.
