Ramsay earns top cop job

Peteck happy with votes, wishes it was closer

A dream that took root more than 20 years ago for Rick Ramsay was realized Tuesday night as the Republican candidate for Monroe County Sheriff and current undersheriff walked away with the job in a decisive victory.

Ramsay isn't the right choice, been in the keys too long and know both and Tom woulda been what is now missing in the keys, "an old school cop with real experience" ;)

You can start by learning to spell Rick Ramsay's last name correctly. Rick has work very hard for the sheriffs office. He also belongs to dozens of boards and fund raises for good causes. He does not sit home at night drinking beers in front of the TV. He's a hard worker and deserves respect for all his accomplishments.
