Free Market

The Navy should bid out The Pier. That's the free market and we want to be sure our Government assets are getting the best return possible. Right? Also Commissioner Rossi, the correct English is "there aren't a lot of options."

The old "Key West Squeeze" :

Sounds like politics as usual at the City Commission meeting. Old Ed and Chris are getting the big squeeze. Bringing in the United States Navy as a "playa" is interesting. 1) WHO....exactly....does the Navy think that they can lease that pier to? That's funny. 2) It would...however....make a lot of sense.....if you REALLY think about it....for HTA to be forced to have drop off points throughout the city......and NOT just in front of their souvenier shop. "Share the love". It would be interesting as well.....to avoid another favoritism issue.....or law suit....by opening up the crusie ship shuttle contract.......to everybody. Hell......it could only SAVE THE CITY MONEY. (That would be different.)

Circus
