Snowstorm puts local linemen back to work

Jerry Pita has never seen snow before except on television or in pictures.

But that all changed Thursday for the veteran Keys Energy Services lineman, and six other local workers stringing wires and otherwise repairing damage done in New York communities hit hard by Hurricane Sandy.

Linemen Pride

Now maybe the lineman will get the credit they deserve. They work hard and long hours. The Firemen and Police are not the only first responsers to locations in need. Half the time they will not enter a building until the linemen come and turn off power. Linemen are true heros. Linemen Rule!!
