Veterans Day poignant for hero's namesake
Nephew researches uncle's WWII death

From earliest boyhood, John Dell has memories of the photo, a young serviceman with his uniform cap at a jaunty angle, made 22 forever when he was felled in battle during the last leg of World War II.

Now living in Key West, Dell retained the stories family members told of his uncle, Pfc. John W. Brown. Then last year, the Camillus, N.Y., native decided the time had come...
