Cost of education comes with strings attached

The idea of the Florida Keys Mosquito Control District paying for its employees to receive advanced degrees was greeted with skepticism by the Key West Chamber of Commerce and some members of the district's board when it was first proposed in September.

Why does what Virginia think have anything

to do with the Mosquito boards function ?

Qualified for the job?

If the job requires an MBA, or a Doctorate then save the money and hire someone with those degrees. If the employees are already doing their jobs without these degrees adequately then why pay them roughly $10,000 a year additional. If they want the degrees then they can do like everyone else and pay for them.

Paying for a doctorate or masters

Minimum 10 years of commitment to the keys.

Does the Chamber require a minimum educational requirement?
