First-timer wins half marathon as Upper Keys dominates

KEY LARGO -- It was a big day for Upper Keys locals at the Key Largo Bridge Run Saturday, with Tavernier residents capturing the titles in the men's half marathon and 10K.

Meanwhile, a high school student took the women's half marathon and the defending champion made it two-in-a-row in the men's 5K.
