HENRY SMITH HAMILTON
Henry Smith Hamilton died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, in Key West, Fla. He was the son of the late Henry Smith Hamilton and the late Maryallis Morgan Hamilton. He graduated from Chestnut Hill Academy, Class of 1966, and the University of Pennsylvania, Class of 1970.
He started his career as a disc jockey in Utica, N.Y., and ended as the owner of Duval Square Tropical Tan in Key West. At various periods of his life he was a lover of technology, movies, acting, cars, and bicycling, and throughout a cat lover with a sharp wit.
He is survived by his two sisters, Josephine Fischer of Vero Beach, Fla., and Grace Farmer of Providence, R.I.; his nephew, Samuel Farmer of Washington, D.C.; and his two nieces, Alice Farmer of Geneva, Switzerland, and Katie Cutler of Scituate, Mass. The Dean-Lopez Funeral Home is entrusted with local arrangements.
