A Big Pine Key man traded a stolen automatic assault rifle and a Monroe County Sheriff's Office SWAT gear bag for prescription pills from the accused burglar, federal agents said Friday.

Should we be looking "under the rug" for Fricke?

IF one of us left ASSAULT WEAPONS and FIREARMS.....unattended....in our unlocked car........ We'd be living in the concrete hotel on Stock Island these days. IT'S RULE # 1......when owning ANY firearm. BUT.....somehow......this guy......and this very dangerous incident......has mysteriously "vanished" into thin air. Shiny new Chief Ramsey........what is this telling us? WHAT....I wonder....would have ultimately happened ....with these weapons??? So much for gun control y'all. "IF GUNS ARE OUTLAWED.....ONLY OUTLAWS......WILL HAVE GUNS". Here is a perfect example.

But when are we going to read that Sgt Fricke is now Dep Fricke and transferred to somewhere in the SO where he does not have to be responsible for securing his equipment and guns??????
