New union deals ready
City to OK police and fire contracts

The city of Key West has reached a tentative agreement with the police union for a three-year contract that offers raises, an overnight shift bonus and one more officer on the road for every shift.

the police get raises and

the police get raises and extra staff , yet we keep gutting education. I see cops everyday ignore the basic rules for traffic violations (stop sign, speeding in construction, lack of directional, all bicycle rules.) why do we need more? Teacher actually do their jobs everyday, not when they feel like it. I would also like to see a health requirement for these overweight cops who stop at dairy queen and sandies for long segments of their shits.
