Nancy (Conley) Carmichael, 69, passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, surrounded by loved ones. Nancy worked for Best Western Key Ambassador as an accounting manager. Her deceased husband, Dennis, worked many years for Charlie Toppino & Sons. She was born Aug. 2, 1943, in Presque Isle, Maine, the daughter of the late Milford and Rebecca (Gardiner) Conley. She is survived by her daughter, Deniece Eden, and her husband Nathan of Key West, Fla; a granddaughter, Jennifer Eden, and her husband Lilburn Railey; a great-granddaughter, Whitney Railey; and great-grandsons, Brian Okam, Hunter Fromang, Blake Fromang and Spencer Fromang, all of Orlando; a son, Dennis Carmichael, and his wife Sabrina; and two grandsons, Brice and Dennis, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two sisters, Carolyn Fox and Louise Walton, and her husband Ramie, all of Presque Isle; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Dennis Carmichael; her brother Gary Conley; and sisters Susan Boutot and Brenda Conley. Per her wishes, she will be cremated and interred with her family at Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle. At a later date, a memorial service will be held in Key West at Peace Covenant Presbyterian Church, of which she was a devoted member. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice/VNA of the Florida Keys. The family wishes to thank Dr. John Calleja and staff and Dr. Bruce Boros and staff for all their care, advice and healing.
