HOB students get built-in high hopes

Mercedes Herrado's 13-year-old eyes stayed focused on the screen before them, unmindful of the visitors who happened into the computer room at Horace O'Bryant Middle School.

In classrooms like this one she has become proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of programs. And she has also learned practical applications for them, as well as others.
