KEY WEST

Donate food, receive a coupon

In his iconic song "Imagine," John Lennon asked people to picture a world free from hunger. The message lives on today through the global "Imagine There's No Hunger" campaign.

Hard Rock Cafe Key West and Winn Dixie grocery store will host the Rock Out Hunger Food Drive Dec. 8 and 15. Shoppers at Key West's Winn Dixie may purchase a pre-packaged bag of foods containing a non perishable meal. In exchange for their donations, shoppers will receive a coupon for Hard Rock Café Key West.

Food collected on these days will remain local and directly benefit The Florida Keys Outreach Coalition's Loaves & Fish Food Pantry and the residents of Samuel's House women's shelter. Call 305-294-0304 or 305-296-0240 for more information.
