Raises for aides to be
discussed
Salaries match jobs, bosses say
The Monroe County Commission will vote Wednesday on giving Commissioner Heather Carruthers' administrative aide a 19 percent raise, which comes at a time when other county employees were not given a pay increase.
The County Commission voted earlier this year to not give out raises in the 2012-13 fiscal year, which started Oct. 1.

Which is work ? Our Commissioners (with the exception of Wiggington) needed to be fired themselves when they didn't uphold the decision of the grand jury to fire Roman Gastesi. Birds of a feather, I hear Nuegent is trying to get a paid position with the Sanctuary as his chances of re election are slim. One Crook moving from one crime scene to another.

When politicians are appointed to a new term because no one would run against them, this is the result. Shame on us, including me, for letting this happen.

The first shocking thing here is that the county commissioners EVEN HAVE AIDES! Then to hear how much they are getting paid....raises or not!.......very shocking and disappointing eye opener.....How much do the commissioner's make? A US President's salary?

Hell no!!!!!!!! No one should get raises, especially since we continuously cut other municipal jobs, like teachers. Things are not good enough yet to start throwing around money like a drunken sailor, again.

same commissioners that punished little employee,s and keep Roman around after the grand Jury recommending to fire him and they refused cause they are no better them him they all outta go to jail. and they called Dixie, Mario,Sonny a gang of three what happen to the poor taxes payer of Monroe County, just move there offices to the jail and County Attorney Bob Shillinger has more family on the County payroll, just check that out and see who they are you might be surprise
