SADDLEBUNCH KEYS: One person was airlifted and another hospitalized in a late-afternoon wreck Tuesday at Mile Marker 13.5, the Sheriff's Office said.

Spokeswoman Becky Herrin said traffic was blocked for about an hour after the call came in at 4:54 p.m.

"We've been on the scene," Herrin said about 6 p.m., when deputies opened up one lane to alternating traffic. The Florida Highway Patrol was investigating. No further information was available by presstime.
