David A. Floyd Jr.
David Floyd of Spring Hill, Fla., formerly of Riverside, N.J., and Little Torch Key, Fla., was a free spirit who enjoyed living life to the fullest. He always had a kind word for everyone he met and a smile on his face, but his smile was never brighter than when he was spending time with his daughter. He was a born thrill-seeker and loved riding roller coasters, and shared that love with his daughter. His tragic, untimely death won't allow that spirit to continue here on Earth, but it will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him.
He was a loving father, beloved son, wonderful brother, caring uncle, devoted partner, and friend to all.
David is survived by his daughter, Katia; mother, Patricia Floyd; sisters, Donna Ulrich (Edward) and Debra Bensley (Daniel); and several nephews and nieces, Michael Ulrich (Brittany), Brian Bogdon (Trisha), Branden Bogdon, Daniel Ulrich, Justin Ulrich, Kailee Ulrich and Jonathan Ulrich. David was preceded in death by his father, David Floyd Sr. He is also survived by his Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Bob Graham, his Aunt Carol Floyd; and his companion, Judy Perkins-Daily.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the David A. Floyd Jr. Memorial Fund, c/o Capital Bank, 30480 Overseas Highway, Big Pine Key, FL 33043.
A celebration of life will be held at a date yet to be determined.
