No pay cuts for time being
Governor's office looks at mosquito boards, including Monroe

A majority of the Florida Keys Mosquito Control District board Friday chose not to move forward with reducing board member's salaries and shot down a separate proposal that would have required employees and commissioners to pay $50 a month toward health benefits.

Proof

If you ever needed proof that this "district" needs to be collapsed into The County, here it is. The inmates are running the asylum. The problem I have is they are running it with our tax dollars! Where is the outrage? How dare these self important clowns not be good stewards of our tax dollars! Make this a county department and show these pompous clowns the door.

So the board voted against reducing pay and adding health care charge for the board. Imagine that. Nationwide, the inmates have taken over the asylum.
