


Utility Board appoints Ramsay-Vickrey
The Utility Board recently appointed Beth Ramsay-Vickrey as the District Five representative to KEYS' Advisory Committee. The district includes Big Pine to the Seven-Mile Bridge.
The five-member advisory committee is designed to provide the board and KEYS' staff with community input on issues such as generation, distribution, finance, customer service and new ventures.
Hospital celebrates and honors
Fishermen's Community Hospital celebrated its 50th anniversary and announced the hospital's nurse, manager and employee of the year during an Employee Appreciation Dinner Dec. 10.
Emergency Room Supervisor Jerilyn Town, RN, was named manager of the year. Nurse Stacy Jinks received the nurse of the year honor, Susan Runyon, who works in the Human Resources department, was named employee of the year.
Michael Cunningham, chairman of the hospital's board, thanked all the employees and honored several employees for their many years of service.
