Santa set to fly over Keys tonight

Santa Claus' sleigh and team of reindeer should be visible over the Florida Keys for two hours tonight, according to North Pole officials.

The red light emanating from the nose of Rudolph the Reindeer, once a source of shame for the animal, famously became a handy guide for Claus and convenient tracking tool for the public. That red light should be over Duck Key at 6:30 p.m., then Key Colony Beach and Marathon at 6:45, Cudjoe Key at 7:30, Big Coppitt Key at 8, and finally, Key West at 8:30 p.m. Times are approximate and visibility is weather-dependent.

From there, the outfit heads to Cuba and Mexico before Central and South America.

Claus reportedly has been delivering gifts and holiday cheer worldwide for hundreds of years, if not more.
