Murder-for-hire plot thwarted
Ex-Coast Guard officer arrested in cocaine-fueled scheme

A prominent Marathon marina owner and retired Coast Guard Station Islamorada commanding officer has been arrested on murder-for-hire and drug-trafficking charges, according to federal court documents.

There is more to this story; what does Ramsay know? What was the reason for wanting Schmitt dead? Zecca was with Cay Club as I recall before the Marina ownership. (Cocain!!!!) This story is only part way out of the can and we have a right to know just what is going on in our community. As Dennis use to say "We can not make this stuff up".
