Veterinarian forged scripts for 992 pills
Feds say he was out of "scope of professional practice," loses DEA certification

An Upper Keys veterinarian charged with acquiring nearly 1,000 painkillers through his standing as a "doctor" has asked a federal judge for more time to prepare for his sentencing later this month.

a doctor abuses his prescription priviliges by fraud but can pay a fine, be incarcerated for less than four years (he will get less for good behaviour) and then petition to get those priviliges back? That's what's wrong with our society. Get a slap on the wrist and go back to a life of crime. He should N_E_V_E_R be able to write Rx again!!!

He didn't sell them. They are a mild opiate. Relax. Its like an attorney applying to get his license back

he's going to say they were for personal use only. You can't know if he was selling them or not. Doesn't matter...he abused his priviliges and shouldn't get them back. Done.
