Ofelia Hull passed away on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Lower Keys Medical Center. Ofelia was a native Conch born July 2, 1928. She is survived by many, and those who knew her knew she was a caring and strong-willed woman who put her family first and made many sacrifices throughout her life to show that. She lived a full life, therefore, her most rewarding accomplishments in life were her four daughters: Yvonne Rivero, Debra Chalmers, Marcia Johnson and Suzette Oropeza (Daniel); nine grandchildren: Michelle Hunt, Daniel Blanco (Amanda), Heather Roberts (Billy), David Flynn (Vicky), Melissa Rivero, Kimberly Lamont, Jenny Oropeza, Jessica Oropeza and Jordan Oropeza; nine great-grandchildren: Joseph Gandolfo, Brandon Blanco, Taylor Gandolfo, Alex Roberts, Karli Roberts, Hailey Ospina, Bailye Flynn, Kameron Roberts and Chay Blanco.

She was preceded in death by her younger brother, Frank Perez, and is survived by her older brother, Miguel (Macho) Perez, who are also native Conchs, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The viewing was held from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Dean-Lopez Funeral Home. Funeral services took place at 4 p.m. at Dean Lopez, with the burial following in the Key West Cemetery. There was a celebration of life following the burial at 2415 Fogarty Ave.
