Murder-for-hire suspect lobbied for port of entry

A marina manager and former Coast Guard station commander charged in a murder-for-hire scheme was lobbying hard for Marathon to become a port of entry, a fact that has raised eyebrows because the scheme reportedly emerged from what began as a drug-smuggling investigation.

Lobbied for port of entry, held a fundraiser for our new sheriff, donated the maximum amount to Rick Ramsay and Dick Ramsay's campaign. First person his wife calls after his arrest...Dick Ramsay. Ill bet our new sheriff and his daddy are nervous about what he is going to say to the Feds. Wow!
