Robert Neil Cassity, 33, born May 10, 1979, in Demopolis, Ala., transitioned into the next etherial plane on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, snug in his bed in his home of Key West, Fla., with his beloved red dog 'Dawg' by his side.

Neil, a resident of the Keys for over 12 years, had many passions, including enjoying music to the fullest, long bike rides, long dog walks, tending to his farm back in Alabama, and experiencing good times with good people and always enjoying good food. So much so that Neil had chosen a profession as an ambassador of sorts in the local restaurant industry, providing his knowledge and love for enjoying and experiencing life to the tourists and community alike for many years at Blue Heaven, and most recently had joined the family at Camille's.

Neil leaves behind countless loved ones, friends and family, here in Key West, Alabama, and all over this world.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Salute on Higgs Beach.

It will also be a benefit in an effort to relieve the burden of expense for the Cassity family. Please join us in celebration of this amazing, one in a million life.

For, ladies and gentleman, Mr. Neil Cassity has left the building.
