Marathon tops Palmer, faces Westminster for District title

The Marathon High girls' soccer team is going to the District 16-1A championship.

The Lady Dolphins upended Palmer Trinity, 2-1, Tuesday afternoon for the right to play Westminster Christian -- which beat Westwood Christian -- in the district title match at 3:30 p.m., Friday, on the Palmer campus in Palmetto Bay.

Win or lose on Friday, Marathon qualifies...
