JASON SCHWALLENBERG

Jason "Schwalli" Schwallenberg, 34, a lifelong resident of the Annapolis, Md., area, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, in Annapolis. Born Nov. 23, 1978, in Annapolis, Schwalli attended St. Mary's Elementary school and graduated from Calvert Hall College in 1996. He was employed at The Harbour School from 2005 to 2013. He was a "Who's Who Among American High School Students" in 1994. He was editor, writer and publisher of "Area 54." Schwalli enjoyed music, reading, soccer, and cooking and was a bassist in the band Make Way.

He is survived by his wife, Shannon Spoto Schwallenberg, formerly of Key West, Fla., and two daughters, Isabella Rose and Lillian Hope; sisters Ann Marie Nau of Meyersville, Md., and Sarah Alyson Viands of Lothian, Md.; parents James and Margret Schwallenberg of Annapolis, Md.; sister-in-law Ashley Spoto; brothers-in-law David Nau and Jay Viands; father-in-law Frank and his wife Glenda; mother-in-law Deborah and her husband Norman.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for his daughters' college education to the "Isabella Rose Young Savers Account" and the "Lillian Hope Young Savers Account," BB&T Bank, 91 Main St., Annapolis, MD 21401.
