Rename Keys airport in memory of Cabañas

Twenty-five feet above the tarmac, flying upside down past thousands of spectators, we watched Freddy Cabanas cut a ribbon with his prop to open Naval Air Station Key West's Southernmost Air Spectacular in 2010. An opener for the Navy's famed Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Squadron, it was hardly the first time this charismatic Conch wowed us with aerobatic feats of daring.

Are you kidding?

This is a terrible idea. Freddy might have been a "Keys Character" but he was also a crazy person who had no respect for others. Everyone is afraid to speak ill of the dead, but I certainly hope that won't mean we will be stuck with an airport named after someone who would get drunk and fire his guns off into the air and menace everyone who lived around him.
