bug board

I guess you complainers do not remember when we had a crappy mosquito control and we were eaten alive. Do you ask what the county, aqueduct, keys energy, city employees pay for insurance? Do you like having someone come to your house when you call mosquito control? Do you think monroe county runs perfectly? The state runs perfectly? I guess you live a fairy tale, because no business or government entity is perfect. At least we have little or no mosquitos now. If you do away with this organization, who will do mosquito control?

Public works......

As is done on many other states and counties to help reduce the layers of tax payer funded bureaucracies.

Health care

I really would like to know the exact health benefits that these employees are getting and if these benefits also apply to family members. What is their deductible, do they have a co pay...How much, and what is the cost of each persons insurance...Additional family? As a taxpayer we are entitled to know. AND YES, I agree with the other post that this should be incorporated into monroe county governance so we could get rid of a board and a lot of non essential personnel

Greed

The sooner the governor abolishes this cash cow the better

Simple Solution

Make this a County Departmrnt! Then this whole board is not needed and rather then worrying about 10 percent, we can save 100 percent! Also get rid of HR, IT, Administrative overhead and everything else EXCEPT actual mosquito control. How about it? Will these overlords vote themselves out of jobs and do what is right for the taxpayer?
