Schooner loses mast, no major injuries
Schooner Hindu owners vow to get it back on water

Capt. Josh Rowan may be the luckiest skipper in Key West, he said Monday afternoon.

Rowan, his crew and 24 customers were aboard the 79-foot Schooner Hindu on their way back to Key West Harbor after the Schooner Wharf Wrecker's Cup Race at 3:36 p.m. Sunday just off Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, when the 1,000-pound main mast broke in two places, Rowan said.
