Navy budget hatchet looms
If Congress doesn't decide by March 1, $4B will be cut automatically

All eyes at Naval Air Station Key West are on Washington, D.C., as sailors and civil service workers nationwide anxiously await a looming $4 billion budget hatchet.

The ax could mean fewer fighter jets at Boca Chica Field, fewer sailors in town and fewer civilian employees in the coming months. As of Friday, Congress had yet to pass a 2013 defense spending bill.
