Key Accents, 804 Caroline St., features writer Leslie Linsley during the First Thursday Art Walk. She will be signing her newest book "Key West: A Tropical Lifestyle," from 6 to 9 p.m.

Linsley has been credited with the revival of decoupage in this country having started her career selling her original decoupage boxes to Cartier, Tiffany, Henri Bendel and Bergdorf Goodman in New York City. Her first book, "Decoupage: A New Look at an Old Craft" was published by Doubleday.

She has since had more than 60 books published on American crafts and home design, including "Key West: A Tropical Lifestyle" and "Key West Houses." She is featured regularly in national magazines and has appeared on many televisions shows including The Today Show, Good Morning America, HGTV and Oprah where she introduced her unique decoupage plates made with early botanical prints. All her work is original and sold through her shop in Nantucket and now exclusively at Key Accents in Key West.
