FEMA removes homes from list

Good news: Notices sent out to 1,713 property owners

More than 1,700 Key West property owners soon will receive notices in the mail that their land will be taken off a controversial list that prohibited development.

The city mailed out notices Wednesday alerting people their properties are off the "FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) List" and they will now be able to develop on their properties.

wow maybe the extortion by the country with all the ROGO crap will end. Time to let those people with deeded lots build their dream without being fleeced by the county
