Gentile not OK as CPA

Monroe County School District Director of Finance and Performance Ken Gentile was wrong to list "CPA" among his credentials on his application for employment with the district, according to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR).

That finding contradicts a report filed earlier this week with the state Division of Administrative Hearings by Gent...

Back pay...

Employees sue for back pay... the Board should do the same thing... Didn't have the credentials for the big salary... SO GIVE IT BACK...

I like the idea

This would never fly legally, but I like the idea.

Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR

are another bunch of idiots plus the other agency should trump them.Leave the dude alone.

Yah, yah - whatever, Cintron.

That is just like a defending attorney. They will lie and twist the truth if it means winning. It is appropriate that Gentile would be defended by such drivel.

Surprise Surprise...

Cintron didn't "see" the Order or Closing Letter? How convenient...either he is a big fat liar or incompetent. Or maybe a little of both.

Sir, you have been voted off the island

Let’s analyze this situation with Mr. Gentile. First, he was hired by the “School Board”, over many other qualified candidates with real CPA licenses, out of a NATIONAL FRICKING SEARCH, that WE the taxpayers paid for. I assume John Dick was absent from this meeting. Second, Jesus (the village idiot) pulled him into his realm and named him “Chief of Staff” (you can’t make these things up). I think everyone is missing this key point. We were trying to hire someone who had a CPA license as it was a major part of the criteria for the job. He has now been told he should not have and now can’t use the CPA title. Oh well, time to leave, you should be voted off the island by the 5 member board, 5-0. Anything short of that is unacceptable to the public. Should we pray first or just vote?

Let him go as far as the State Prison in Florida City for 5-year

This guy violated several Florida Statutes 435.11, 838.022, 839.11 to name a few.

Is anyone surprised by this? What's shocking g is he is employed

Today 2/16/2013 on the SHAL website Gentile CONTINUES to falsely use the title CPA the following is cut and pasted from the SHAL we site: "Ken recently moved to Key West, Florida for his new assignment and has certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Public Accountant" this is 3 months after the state required a cease and desist. I feel sorry for Cintron for talking on this criminal - the real question is how long will we- the Tax Payers - be on the hook pay this criminal a top salary? Is the district prepared to procecute? My guess is that he's been just as decietful with district money. Whose watching till when the chief is a criminal??

This Guy Seems Like A Bad Apple-He's Paid A Lot of Money To

....mis-represent himself. It's my understanding that his wife is being paid a large salary as well. Both of these out of towners need to hit the road...
