Local war hero gets brand new home
Nonprofit hopes to make house giveaway an annual tradition for veterans

Key West Army veteran James Carey and his wife Lissette have been chosen as the winners of a new home given away by a recently formed Florida Keys-based nonprofit group.

Homes for Veterans Inc. announced the Careys as the winners of the home giveaway at Saturday's Keystock Music Festival in Key West.
